♫ Skeleton Zoo - Devil’s Lettuce
Unwelcome, I was pushed aside to make room for those bestowed the honor of their companionship. As I tried to take in the scenery around me, to become familiar with where I was harshly banished to, I noticed I traveled far from my intended destination. I tried to let out a scream, to give a hint of where I had foolishly retired to, only to discover my voice had left me in shock. Gripping my throat, I could feel drops of mist climb across my sweaty, clammy skin. Mist soon gave way to more forceful and demanding rain drops - turning the labyrinth into a quagmire. Afraid and confused, I began to sink further and further into the bog. Assured no one would notice my absence. Drowning. Disappearing. Distasteful demise.Skeleton Zoo debut EP “The Busrides” is, in essence, collagewave - composed of a multitude of samples, glitchy beats, and percolating loops. As the pieces layer together, the music transforms into a lush abstract composition. Melding and forming a smorgasbord of incandescent finely fragmented melodies.
